Compatibility and Pairing

Instructions for pairing or adding a phone vary, depending on the model of phone.

Pair (or add) a device:

Select SETTINGS from the Home screen.
Select DEVICES tab.
Select Bluetooth^® and turn setting On.
Select Add New Device.
Using your device with Bluetooth^® turned on, perform a search for the Bluetooth^® device (peripheral device) and select Toyota/Scion from list.
If the features are compatible with IA’s system, all contact, email/SMS functions, SMS, MMS and email messages for the device will download automatically. A download permission operation may be required. Make sure you always allow and accept these messages.

Is my device compatible?

Please Note:

– When updating the operating system of your mobile device (such as Windows/Android/iOS), pairing information may be invalidated. If this occurs, delete/remove pairing from both the device and system and follow the pairing procedure to add it again.

– You cannot pair your phone using voice recognition.

– Instructions may vary, depending on your system's version of software.
